Adjust your watch

Adjusting a watch band and correctly setting the time and date can be tricky if you're not familiar with the process. If you don't have experience or the right tools, visit a trusted jeweler. If you're comfortable enough to adjust your watch yourself, follow this guide to get your watch perfectly fitted.

Adjusting the watch band: creating the perfect fit

The band plays a crucial role in both the comfort and appearance of your watch. Adjusting it requires some basic tools and a bit of patience.

Gather the necessary tools

• A watch pin remover tool

• A soft cloth to protect your watch

Determine the links to remove

• Measure the band around your wrist to determine how many links need to be removed

• Look inside the band for arrows. These indicate the direction the pins should be pushed out

Removing the pins

• Place the watch on a soft cloth to prevent scratches

• Use the pin remover tool to push the pin in the indicated direction

• Gently pull the pin out and store it safely

• Repeat the process to remove the desired number of links

Reassembling the band

• Align the remaining links and insert a pin through the link holes

• Use the pin remover tool or a small hammer to securely place the pin back in

• Ensure the pin is firmly in place before wearing your watch

Setting the time and date

Now that the band is perfectly sized, it's time to set your watch accurately.

Setting the date

• Find the crown on the side of the watch case

• Gently pull the crown out to the first position

• In this position, you can turn the crown downward to change the date

• Slowly turn the crown to avoid skipping numbers or damaging the movement

• Stop turning once the correct date is displayed

Setting the time

• Pull the crown out to the second position. This allows you to adjust the time

• Turn the crown in both directions to move the hands to the desired time

• Take your time to find the correct setting, as precise adjustment keeps your watch accurate

• Push the crown back to its original position once the time is set correctly

This way, you’ll ensure your watch not only fits perfectly but also accurately displays the time and date. Enjoy your timeless style!
